Today, GRT is proud to celebrate a new beginning for sisters Doreen (22) and Tabitha (19)!
After growing up on the streets, amidst the harsh realities of the Dandora dumpsite—one of the largest in Africa—they have taken an important step toward their future.
With the support of GRT, both have officially enrolled at the Dandora Green Light Vocational Center for a one-year course: Doreen will attend the program to become a hairdresser, while Tabitha will follow the culinary course to become a cook.
The girls are part of the project “Njia ya Nyumbani – The Way Home”, implemented with the support of funds from the Otto per Mille allocated to the Catholic Church.
